SOCIAL PROGRAMME – WEDNESDAY 16TH APRIL

For delegates who plan to remain in Glasgow for the evening of Wednesday 16th April, we have arranged an optional additional social programme to complete your Conference experience.
The social evening will take in two visits, with a drinks reception, dinner (including ½ bottle of wine per person), after dinner drinks and all coach transport to and from the Radisson Hotel and the venues.
The draft programme is as follows:

6.00 Private coach departs Radisson Hotel for John Dewar and Sons, Glasgow.At Dewar’s we will enjoy a Drinks Reception hosted by Garry Gray, MD John Dewar & Sons and have the chance to see the fascinating historic exhibits in the Dewar Heritage Room. Established in 1846, Dewar’s have one of the richest histories in the Scotch whisky industry. The displays cover many aspects of the distilling and marketing of whisky for over 160 years.
7.15 Private coach departs for Auchentoshan Distillery.
At Auchentoshan we will enjoy a full three course dinner, with wines and whisky, giving delegates chance to see how this distillery has targeted the corporate market for meetings and functions, as well as opening to normal visitors.
Whisky for the function is kindly being provided by Morrison Bowmore, owners of Auchentoshan, the nearest distillery to Glasgow.
11.00 Private coach returns to Radisson Hotel

 

Cost £69, including VAT to include: all coach transfers, drinks reception, 3 course dinner with ½ bottle wine per person, drinks. To book, please click here.
