A. The World Whiskies Conference is the first gathering of the global whisky industry – a unique event deeply focussed on whisky that cuts across all functional boundaries to provide an opportunity for international networking, exchange of knowledge and best practice. The Conference Programme has been designed in consultation with a distinguished Advisory panel of industry leaders. The World Whiskies Conference is designed for all whisky producers regardless of location and is supported by leading international producer associations.
A. The World Whiskies Conference is a trade only event (individual consumer registrations will be declined). It is aimed at senior management from regional Director to Chairman and Board members (executive and non-executive). Expect to meet Brand, Marketing and Communications Directors; Sales and Regional Directors; Distilling, Production and Distribution Directors; HR and Personnel Directors; Finance Directors; Managing Directors and above. Senior executives from service industries such as marketing and advertising; packaging and bottling; financial services and others closely linked to the global whisky industry are also recommended to attend.
A. The World Whiskies Conference is distinctively different from the other excellent conferences that already exist. Where they are broad, covering all distilled spirits beverages, World Whiskies Conference is specifically focussed on world whisky; where they are narrow, targeting specific job functions such as Marketing or Production, World Whiskies Conference promotes cross-functional debate and sharing of best practice.
A. The 2010 conference features great value rates, held from 2009, and with a new one day rate.
